Kylie turns 3 and Happy Halloween!

Well, we had quite an eventful weekend last week. Kylie turned 3, and her party was a success despite the rain. It was relocated to an indoor play area in the mall. I made her a Diego birthday cake which got rave reviews from the kids and parents. Kylie got to be spoiled by her grandparents and family. Among her birthday presents were lots and lots of treasures from Hong Kong that grandma Judy brought back for her, a pretty ring for a pretty princess from her grandma & grandpa Hansell and a Cinderella dress from Uncle Mikey and I.

Our annual Halloween party was that evening, and we had 40 guests this year! Out of all of them, there were only 3 not in costume, so that was a great turnout and great participation. Mike and I went as a bee and a beekeeper. Some of my favorite costumes were the Three Amigos, the Dark Angel and Boris & Natasha. I have included all of the photos here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/loriannjmu/sets/72157622602315543/
First prize went to a Princess Leia reimagined in steampunk style. Second went to the Three Amigos. And tied for runners up were Dark Angel, Calvin & Hobbes and Boris & Natasha.
