Well, here goes...my first blog posting. I thought I would start this thing so that my friends and family near and far can see what's going on in my life these days. Not that I think it's that exciting - but people do ask.
So, the Halloween bash was quite fun. There were 35 in attendance - pretty much full capacity for the townhouse, I decided. Neighbors, friends and family came. I was glad that Mom & Dad finally made the trek from VA for my 7th annual bash - AND they wore costumes! As you can see, mine is hideous. Mike and I were nerdy prom dates. His idea - but it was genius! The worst part of the outfit was that the braces made me able to drink but not eat...dangerous combination! (Well, and the shiny fabric...that's just not good for anyone.) Some other great costumes were Heather & Scott - she was a football player and he was the cheerleader, Loren as Jack Skellington and two of my friends who came as Sarah Palin.
Probably one of the best things about the party was that everything was totally cleaned up and all decorations put away by NOON the next day! Thanks mom, dad & Mike!!!
what a great idea for a Halloween costume. I will remember that for future Halloweens.
